Business and the Liberal Arts
Bronfman writes about the importance of a Liberal Arts education in accordance to his own ideas of the matter. He explains that obtaining a Liberal Arts education enriches a person far beyond giving them the skills to do math or science. It gives us the blueprint for how to think critically and and with reason. He argues that the skills obtained that do not regard basic school curriculum are the skills that build our character. I must point out that Bronfman makes a solid case in demonstrating that the way we think is who we are. With a Liberal Arts education, students learn skills that will develop them into prosperous, intelligent people beyond the textbook or classroom.
